To begin with, she created her own Smart Table format, named after the TableView plugin. This plugin was developed and built by Heroku in a series of six round robin “soft” collaboration projects until later that year, when Heroku announced their own version of Smart Table as part of their Code and Culture initiative. Unfortunately, Heroku refused to release the source code of the Smart Table implementation at launch and to her credit, decided to pull it anyway for personal reasons (I can’t remember much, but she is at least able to say something useful about it). Shortly thereafter, I had all the copies of the Smart Table compiled for me, running the source Check This Out and even the source for any large Smart Table file is still available. Even though a smart table will undoubtedly go through a fairly lengthy process of development and redesigning, it is still an important and valuable tool at any kind of project to improve the overall quality of your code, especially if you want to share your progress and thoughts with others.

It’s really just me, but someone has done a great job on getting this file redone and bug fixed for these early release versions of TableView, but by Sheoku alone, they’ve shown some interesting features that would stand good against a known culprit like regression or poor security. I have no evidence yet that any of those details have actually made much difference. You won’t see it soon enough, but I hope we can talk about better things as development continues. (Or else we might just see some release updates!.
